need help with triton

i have my triton workstation connected to my MPC1000 and i cant hear it play back after i record midi to a track. i can hear sound when i play it without recording and WHILE im recording. but when i hit stop and playback i see the midi box jumping on the MPC to tell me the midi is in there. but i just dont here the sound playing back. can anyone help me with this or link me to a page that i can print out. Thanks man.

i figured it out. i assumed the MPC midi channels were only 1a 2a 3a ETC but after 16a is 1b and thats the channel (The B channels) it has to be on to work. Sorry for the post.
