I know that the 2500 can read up to 32 voices and that if the samples are all stereo, it can only read 16. My question is if I have a kick layered with 3 stereo samples, does that count as 6 voices right there? I was having an issue where samples where getting cut off because there where too many voices. So what I did was record the kick using the MAIN OUT, and then put that sample on my kick pad. So instead of 3 stereo samples layered to make a kick, it became just one stereo sample. But my samples are still getting cut off. Didn't I reduce the amount of voices by doing this? Is there anyway to check to see how many voices are being used up? Also does the JJ OS allow more voices?

Then this is not your problem. 1 stereo sample = 2 voices.

You sure you do not still trigger the samples you layered before or something?
