MPC1000 doesn't show up on my Mac

MPC1000 doesn't show up on my Mac

Hooked up via USB.
MPC1000 doesn't show up on my Mac.
System 1.03 and Mac is 10.2.8
Memory card is plugged into the MPC.

Any ideas what's wrong...?

make sure ur in usb tab of mpc load mode, hit mode, load ,and then f4 also u might need to download driver for the mac dont know if there is one but go to akaipro.com and update the mpc's OS

Thanks. That's exactly what I needed to know. I should have looked it up in the manual but it's at my friend's house...

nope.. its just removable media. MAC OS X reads it as a disk... never had a problem on a mac..

i dont think its a matter of what kinda computer ur usin its a matter of reading the directions on how to connect yur mpc to a computer
