card reader/zip drive for 2000xl

i was wondering what exactly i would need when getting an internal 250mb zip drive as far as OS..different power/data cables and what not

id like to get the card reader but i cant find any lower priced ones..

any help is coo with me..thanks

You can't find any card readers lower priced than what? VST and MPCStuff both carry the upgrade kit for like $150. You might be able to get one of those MCDISK drives from scuzzyforsamplers (not spelled right of course) for $99, but I don't know how those joints work. I bought the Microtech joint from them but they want a ridiculous amount of money for those now (not like it wasn't ridiculous when I paid $150 for it, but it was an investment that I don't regret.)

Think of it as an investment B.
