so i am copping a 2000xl max mem upgrade and thats it......for 500 so thats not bad at all
but i only use the 60II no that i am getting rid of that monster and switching models what are some things i may want to look at like OS's and is a card reader to risky to install on ones own?

No, a card drive isn't hard to install at all. Really isn't. Just plug in the jumper and you're good to go. I would advise against getting any card larger than 1 gig since the MPC will format a 2 gig card down to 1 gig with the 1.20 OS. I'd also consider getting the eb16 fx card and a replacement screen just in case. Overall you got a good deal. I paid $500 for mine and it only had the memory upgrade, too.

thanks man...... the screens are not good on life? yeah i might do that how about pads i have seen different colors for the 2000xl and some super fat pads where can i cop these!
and the fx card what all effects does it put in the 2000xl?

also i am rockin the floppies still is there a certain type i know for my old 60 i only use the dd's?

so i guess i have the OLD OS the 1.07 i think whats the news with the new one i think 1.21?
and what diff options do you get? and what does it do for the user i should ask!
