I HAVE A MPC 1000, ENSONIQ KEYBOARD,MBOX2,REASON 4 AND NATIVE INSTRUMENTS. I WANT TO SEQUENCE ON PRO TOOLS 7.3 BECAUSE ITS MORE EASIER TO DO ARRANGEMENTS AND TRACKING TO PRO TOOLS.

HOW CAN I CONNECT THESE EQUIPMENT LISTED ABOVE SO I CAN SEQUENCE ON PRO TOOLS USING MPC'S SOUNDS, KEYBOARD'S SOUNDS AND PLUG-INS INSTRUMENT. I WANT TO SEQUENCED MULTIPLE SOUNDS AT ONCE. EVERY TIME I HAVE A KICK AND SNARES ON MIDI CHANNEL 1 ON PRO TOOLS THEN GO ON TO THE NEXT MIDI CHANNEL 2, ITS PLAY THE SELECTED SOUNDS INSTEAD OF MY KICK AND SNARES. SAME GOES FOR MY KEYBOARD'S SOUNDS. I WANT TO SEQUENCE MULTIPLE SOUNDS USING MIDI.

MAYBE I NEED A MIDI INTERFACE TO SEQUENCE MULTIPLE SOUNDS AT ONCE OR I'M PROBABLY DOING SOMETHING WRONG. I HOPE I MAKE EVERYTHING CLEAR HEAR. ONCE AGAIN I GOT A MPC 1000, ENSONIQ KEYBOARD, MBOX 2, REASON 4 AND NATIVE INSTRUMENTS. I NEED HELP SEQUNCE ALL OF THEM IN A SEPARATE MIDI CHANNELS. THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME READING THIS. I HOPE YOU GUYS COULD HELP ME.

plug your mpc midi out into mbox midi in and mbox midi out to mpc midi in then set up your enviroment in protools then, when you want to turn it into audio get two quarter inch cables and go from your mpc to you l and r channels in your mbox.

your gona have to make an instrumetn track or a midi track in protools to set up your mpc inside it, i dont know which one cause i use mine with logic 8 but its pretty much the same concept. youll only be able to hear the midi out of your mpc when your making your beat because it isnt audio yet, but after you bounce it you can hear it out of your mbox.

and for your software instruments, make instrumetn tracks in protools and select them from the drop down list that pops up on the side.

you could do all your mpcage first then you could convert it to audio and use your keyboard in the same port as your mpc was, but youll need a midi interface if you wanted to do both at the same time.
