When I record a sample from my synth into the MPC, the EQ/sound of the sample is drastically different when I play it/record it in the main/sequencer screen. It sounds bright and exactly how I recorded it when Im in the trim mode. But when I jump over to the sequencer screen to record the loop from the pad, its sounds muffled and EQed differently. Why is that? I messed with the mixer a bit but was unable to get the sample to its natural sound in the sequencer mode. I know its not a problem with recording and its not an issue with the sample level because the MPC is already playing the sample the way I want to hear it when im in Trim mode. Its just when I switch over to teh main screen it sounds completely different. Im a new MPC user and this is my first posting. I searched a while through the posts and could not find an answer to this. Anyone know what Im missing?
