nah man it was "All I Do Is Think Of You" by the Jackson 5

i've flipped that Stylistics joint a couple times, classic version of a classic tune.

true that, jaisu... my bad.

well at least now he knows which sample he's getting it confused with... sounds very similar.

cool, i guess dilla dint use that sample. i guess the sounds in the stylistics joint reminded me of the heart of the donut beat, but i knew the heart of the donut beat was a loop, so i ruled that out.

yo, jaisu, speakin of dilla and samples... i saw you use a A&M record on your beat tape )which is dope by the way) with little kids vocals - sounded like that beat on ruff draft with the kids goin "come on feel the noise now wow wow wow" or something... whats that record :)

lol nvm, i just watched the beat tape again... i saw the crime of the century cover. defenatly not dilla

Dilla did not sample Slade that's just what common song everybody knows so they think he sampled that version but their wrong. Neil Innes was part of the famous Bonzo Dog Band.

Dilla Sampled
Neil Innes and Son | Come On Feel The Noize (Pipe Records)
