JJ OS 1 or JJ OS2

whats poppin, im just looking for some input.

basically, im new to the mpc, learning everything with the akai os, im wondering, what would you guys do, jump into OS1 or instead put the extra money and just get OS2.

and take it from there?

ahhh i fogot, i gotta buy os1 to get os2 to work.

seriously? you do? damn that means if i want to up my os from the free 3.08 im going to have to pop almost 100$?

yeesh.... i don't think the new features warrant that for myself.

seriously, you should try and install both free versions of os1 and os2 to see for yourself before you say that.
you'd be surprised how much crazy new stuff is in those os's...

3.08 barely shows you even a glimpse of what the other os's have.
i mean, just $30 for os1 gets you about 50 new things added....

I got hooked up with JJ OS1 a couple of weeks back. Lot of cool functions. Going to hold off switching to OS2 until i get fully accustomed to OS1...

Could be awhile before that happens.

I have both, but I'm still using OS1. I'm almost completely lost with OS2, and I don't think I need the additional features. It's nice to have tho, and the full cost is still VERY cheap compared with the Linn OS for the MPC60, and the other OS for the 3000.

it's a lot more along the lines of 'almost 75 dollars' not 'almost 100'

almost is a pretty subjective word haha.
