Hi, I'm new to this forum so Il'l just start by saying what a great forum this is, plenty of hints and tips!
Okay this is a question that seems to pop up all the time, and I follow peoples instructions but I cant get it to work....
I have a mac pro with Logic pro 8 and an edirol FA-101 interface and want to use my MPC500 as a midi controller - all of the equiptment I have just mentioned is new to me. When I had a pc i just used to hook up my midi keyboard onto the game port and hey presto but with a mac its more, erm, involved!
So could someone please please PLEASE write an idiot-proof guide to setting up the mpc in logic's enviroment as well as the setting up on the MPC500 itself so I can use it as a midi controller.
Once again please help I dont wish to see that I have just spent all this money and cant set it up!
