By using another Grid Edit Drum Mode... you cannot use the Audio Grid to enter Samples as Events! It's just for having a look at the waveform and applying Fades to it. Usually, people use it in addition to Direct Recording, when the play some live stuff and record directly into the mpc. And what they play is usually as long as the sequence, so it loops automatically...

ok say you have a recorded vocal (ie. a chorus) in the audio section, how can you repeat the (vocal chorus)audio track with the drum/midi track? normally you would just copy drum/midi track and how many times, but it doesn't work with audio. is there nother work around?

Like I said before: use the drum mode. Create a new program, assign the sample to a pad and then just enter events in grid edit (drum mode)
