When adjusting the whole "LEVL" column at once in the program edit mode in OS2 all levels jump to the same number, as opposed to saying relative to their current setting. I don't know if this would be a true bug, but it's definitely an annoyance and would I would appreciate the behavior changed if possible.

If there's something I'm not getting let me know, thanks!

Edit: I just noticed that there's 2 "LEVL" columns. One on the "SAMPLE" page and one on the "OUT/FX" page. What's the point of this? Either way they both exhibit the same behavior...

When in the sample list window pressing a pad to play the highlighted sample doesn't work properly. Instead of playing the highlighted sample it plays the sample from the currently selected program. However, holding down the pad and turning the data wheel causes the samples in the list to play correctly.

yeah it's lucky you had the presence of mind to take down the numbers!

os2 1.08 seems to have reverted to losing wavs when you load in a program. also on 1 sequence in a song i originally saved in 1.07 the bass sounds disappeared. but only in that 1 sequence. as it was during a band practice i didn't really get the chance to look further into what happened

Auditrack bug
OS2 V 1.08

- load up a sample ex. "BD 808.wav" (or make one by recording something in MODE+RECORD)
- Make an audiotrack
- record something to it
- Highligt the sample name and press window
- BUG: your loaded sample ("BD 808.wav") is highlighted instead of what youve just recorded (this is extremely anoying when you accidently delete samples from programs this way..)

Can anyone confirm?

i think this is new in OS 2 v 1.07 or 1.08 maybe...

inconsistency between os1 and os2, as pointed out by Big Psych from Ohio:

os1: load a program. create a new track. DEFAULT: loaded program opens as default program in track.

os2: load a program. create a new track. DEFAULT: no program opens as default program in track. program must be specified per track.

i will have to look into this a little more to determine specifics, but homie called me specifically to look into this so i'm gonna see what i can do with it.

seems to be an issue of convenience, worth preserving for people.

OS 2 V 1.10

Q-link slider bug:

1: load a program with samples
2: record a sequence using the samples
3: go to mode+slider
4: highlight Q1 or Q2
5: set it to "NOTE ON"
6: set parameter to "PAN"
7: Set target to "TRACK"
8: go to "MAIN"
9: play sequence
10: move Q-Link slider

BUG: No panning is happening.

This is actually the case with all the parameters(!)

And didn't we use to have pan in the "realtime" q-link as well?!?

Can anyone confirm this?

I've checked JJ online manuals and it seems you're right. PAN and LEVEL don't appear to be realtime according to the top scheme.

It looks like LEVEL is gone and PAN moved to NOTE ON..

Strange..

what about the bug?

I just loaded in the free version of JJ0S.

I then load in something I've written previously.

When I try to play back tracks, nothing plays at all. I check my programs, and no samples are loaded (when previously they are all there).

I then reloaded the orginal akai OS, and everything is fine.

Will this same problem occur if I pay for the full version?
