routing midi data from drum prg. to the internal sampler

yeah, finally i am in the 4k game
(after a odyssee from getting a damaged mpc, sending back to repaircenter, back to me, back to repaircenter, back to seller, buying an other 4k)

i am really impressed fom the beast!!!

so i have a question:
is it possible to route mididatas from a track with a drumprog to an other track with a keygroup prg?
reason is: i have allways used scales prgs. with my earlier mpcs (a drumprogramm without samples, only for sending midi to my external gear, each prg has its own scale).
so i want to control the internal sampler with correct scales
(hope you now what i mean)

Now that you have a 4k, you no longer need to use those programs since keygroup programs are already meant to span chromatically. You can change the way the pads respond in keygroup programs by hitting Pad Assign and changing the value at the top between Default and chromatic. You can also custom map the pads to notes in this screen. Not sure if that is what you are asking, the question was confusing.

It is said the 4k will recognize about 128GB on internal drives.

i want to play my sampler sounds with the mpc pads IN THE CORRECT scale order, not in chromatic order (which means every note on the keyboard).

show u an example of my padlayout for Cmaj:

BANK A:

G1 - A1 - B1 - C2
C1 - D1 - E1 - F1
G0 - A0 - B0 - C1
C0 - D0 - E0 - F0

BANK B:

G3 - A3 - B3 - C3
C3 - D3 - E3 - F3
G2 - A2 - B2 - C3
C2 - D2 - E2 - F2

and so far.....
as u can see each bank has 2 octaves from the scale with the correct halfsteps.

would u play the notes in chromatic order, then there are ALLWAYS one halfstep to the next note (which means every note one the keyboard without intervalls)
C,Db,D,Eb,E,F,Gb,G,G#,A,Bb,B

made this prgs. for every scale (maj, minor (harm, melodic))
and its a lot of fun to jam arround by playing the pads allways correct.
when i want to change my scale i simply change my programm...

its a bit like abletons midiscale pluggin

Gotcha. That's a pretty cool idea, then you can't play out of key. Too bad it doesn't actually have a feature to filter incoming MIDI notes like that. You should be able to change the note assignments for this with the pad assign feature. I believe you can only save these settings with drum programs, so I'm guessing your problem is that you want to use these assignments with keygroup programs. I don't have the MPC in front of me, but you could try sending the track to INT-A and INT-B to see if that allows you to trick it since you could have drum and keygroup programs on the same midi channel. You can also route the drum pads to INT-A in the MIDI routing page. Might be worth trying to use OUT-1 and OUT-2 with different types of programs. The last option would be to convert a keygroup program to drum, but that doesn't always work right. Let us know if any of those work for you.

so cool, now i can play my internal sampler progs allways in key and jam arround!!!

i have made allready the whole major and minor scales on drum prgs....
now i want to make arabian scale, blues scales etc.... and go nuts

update:

u have to route (in the main page)
INT OUT1: PART ------ DRUMPRG. with Scalesettings
INT OUT2: PART ------ KEYGRP PRG. of your choice

and after recording you can change the Type Setting from Drum to Inst, and there u go with the recorded notes in the piano roll view.
