ummm, does your mpc have a card reader?
if it does then you will need a usb card reader to transfer files from computer to mpc
if the mpc has a zip drive, you will need a usb zip drive to transfer files from computer to mpc
unless i misunderstood your question

Appreciate it man I guess I need to upgrade to a Usb zip drive. I'm goona have to cop one off of e bay!

External zip drive I have the 100 mb omega. So the 250 is non compatible for mpc?

If any one have the answer I'll get a card reader instead of Usb zip drive. If I can access the program files off of my e book.

what drive is installed internally in the mpc?
perhaps you could go for a usb scsi adapter and hook your external hd up to your macbook that way
