Why the 500 gotta be called "entry level"?

The 500 model ain't no easier to learn than the other models, probably even harder to learn than some other models being it's got a couple less features. Just curious about this because on the forums table of contents it refers to the mpc as the "entry level MPc"

Entry level maybe because it's cheaper than the others?!?! When you first enter into production you don't want to spend mucho money just yet. You just want something cheaper to ease you into it.

agree...people confuse size and portability with quality. Funny I was teaching my young daughter a lesson on that when she asked me why some "small" things costs so much. I explained its the technology and utility that drive price and not the weight or size.

the 1/2 G will one day be a legend and will fetch high prices when hardware does eventually take a serious backseat to software (inevitable unfortunately). There will be people who will still want a stand alone box to do rough drafts. I plan on picking up about 2 more 1/2 G's and store away.
