someone down with the FMC-01 8Mb Flash ROM Expansion?

I could get a fmc-01 for nice price,does it work in the 2000 classic?
my manual says FMX 008 M is the one to go with....but I got information that it works in the 2000 classic also................... :?: ???

if you can trust him take his word for it, but i would request some sort of returns policy. i think a bit of googling might help u out. they could be the same product, just one akai and 1 mutek.

If its the FMC-01 board it will work everywhere. The only problem with the 2kxl is that it won't fit straight as it requires a riser board. However, it fits the classic straight on.

Mine is sitting as I have a 2kxl. If you're interested that much, hit me back. But it ain't gonna be cheap. 8)
