as for the way i learned. i learned most of the stuff from the forums. i played around a lot with the mpc while reading the manual but still ran into a few problems so i looked through a lot of the old posts and found a lot of answers to the questions that i had and i also asked people on the forums for help too. they were pretty helpful, but there were some assholes too.

In about 2 weeks time I had the hang of it pretty well, it's now almost 4 months later and I'm still learning stuff but fly through all the features quite nicely! The 500 is amazing, the more you do on it the more you learn, it will continue to surprise you for awhile with what it's capable of letting you do as a artist!
