well i thought my advice would be better than putting the sample back in sf or even recycle and adding a tail....
what ive done before is to add 30m/s of silence at the end of the sample to compensate for the decay....basically sample 1 sec of silence and then paste that onto the end of your sample.....et voila...
so 3 ways you can compesnate without the sample leaving the mpc...
i chop very tight but do agree that sometimes it wont always match- ive always used a combo of these three techniques to fake that tail and close that gap....
you just need to try it
