MPC 1000 sustain

hi, im triggering keyboard samples from my 1000 and would like to sustain notes. is there any way i can do this. the mpc has no footpedal sustain option and when i plug a footpedal into my trigger keyboard it doesn't work either. any solutions?

try looping your samples.

set the amp envelope with a long decay to let notes fade out rather than end abruptly.
