it's real easy, but it'd be good idea if you described how you got it setup right now so we can figure out what you doing wrong.

3000 should be hooked to midi interface. track one setup to midi 1 track 2 to midi 2 and so on.

I've got track 1 assigned to midi 1 and so forth. Using Midisport 8x8. Would like to control Live 6, Battery, and Reason but I dont seem to be getting a midi signal out from the pads... It is syncing with Live ok but no midi output thru the pads. Would like to trigger drum sounds and samples with the 3000 live but this is driving me mad. MPC 3000 is still the best beatbox available, dont get me wrong!

I do it with an MPC1K. Seems like a 3K should be the same because you are just using it as a midi controller/sequencer.

1) Setup your pads chromatically instead of using the usual MPC note layout. Save that program so it's easy to load-up every time.

2) Connect midi in and out to computer via midi interface.

3) Start-up Battery 3 and go to midi settings and choose your midi interface. Also make sure your audio is set-up properly.

That should be it...

Make sure that the track on ur 3k is set to "drum" or midi info will not be transmitted from the pads. I know it sounds wrong, but try it. Good Luck
