I WANT A STANE ALONE UNIT BUT FOR $200 CHEAPER I COULD GET A MPD AND CONNECT IT TO THE COMPUTER AND HAVE AN MPC .PLZ DON'T SAY IT IS NOT A TRUE MPC CAUSE I KNOW THAT BUT WITH THE EXTRA $200 I COULD GET A M-AUDIO KEYBOARD AND SOMETHING ELSE.
What is most important is which is going to be your main sampler Logic EXSP24 or MPC?
Which is going to be your main sequencer Logic, Fruityloops or MPC?
If you get a used mpc you can still used it as a main sequencer to control Logic and plus used the sampler on the road live. It is up to you. No computer has the feel of a mpc but no mpc is as strong as a DAW either. Use both I have a MPD24 and I hardly ever used it cuz the pads and the sequencer of my mpc still rules over my DAWs for the initial preproduction. My point of view thought do what you feel most comfortable with.
