I think this issue has bothered me since akai os 2.10

So, in JJOS1 let's say i have a 8 bar sample (which is not very rythmic and which can't be trim visually)
I want to make that sample loop on 4 bar and it is stored in a specific program.

With the options in the other mode you have truncate duration : as played/ seq end/ seq lenght
and mute/stop of one-shot sample : immediate/ through

In the sequence if i set loop to OFF and mute/Stop to immediate no problem the sample will stop at the end of the sequence (which is also the sequence lenght btw)

Nevertheless, when that sequence is integrated into a song and converted the sample in question will not stop and overlap on the next sequence in the song (that seems logical because the song became a seq anyway)

But even i change the other settings the sample will never stop as it is supposed to be. May it be considered as a bug, i guess it is normal spefication.
The normal workaround would be to trim and cut the sample so as to avoid this ( that's why a timeline woulb be cool).

Anyway, anybody has a solution or a thought about this?

Set the pad to mono and add a note at the very end of the sequence (or wherever you want the sample to stop). I´m not sure if i got your problem right, but thats what i do to control lengths. Alternatively you could set up a mute pad.
