Tracking MPC2500 Using Pro Tools LE

I know that this question has been posted before. However, I havent found an answer to my problem. My situation is my MPC is hook up to my Fantom X6 thru MIDI. Now when Im ready to track the beat on Pro Tools, I dont know how to track multiple tracks at the same time. I have the digi 003 rack and I want to do connect my devices to pro tools using midi. My problem is How in the world do I setup pro tools and how do I connect my setup with the digi 003 rack. I want to track multiple tracks at the same time and this is what I want to do. PLease help me.....

Manuals my man...please read the manuals. There's usually a section on midi setup. If not
check out http://www.digidesign.com.

Each sound has to be assigned to a midi channel. Then in PT, a midi track is created for each
instrument track. I hope you realize if midi is the only thing you're tracking, then the keyboard
will have to be connected to play the sounds.

Again read the manuals.

This is all I have concerning help. I don't have a digi 003. :idea: Maybe we can trade and I can show you step by step how to track with the Mbox1 :D How 'bout it? :)

hey wook JR i see you can help me listen i have a m-audio interface midi cables mac book pro.
question do i need audio cables to track in to ableton? and if so where would i connect it
i mean audio dosent transmit through midi right im confused

I guess that manual was neva read. Look, all you have to do is connect outs to ins.
It's that simple. The connections vary depending on your gear. You could have 1/4 mono
outs, 1/8 stereo outs or RCA outs. Just check ya connecions and had to the nearest
RadioShack, Guitar Center, or local mom/pop store.

Hell...i don't know. Look it's this simple.

1. audio out from laptop or mixer (whateva the audio SOURCE is) to audio in
on the mbox. There should be at least two inputs. Pick one.

2. connect ya midi to usb adapter. Read the connections on the adapter and plug them into the
mpc slots.

The rest if configuring PT. Check the link below. I'm sure this would have come up, if you used to search function.

Swift hand Lamp.... P.S. Wook J - R make sure you have the Mpc on a rope or a midi cable or something. LOL
