Witch reverb and when + how?

Witch hardware reverb unit do y'all use for makin that ol' boombap?
+ on witch sounds do u use it besides snares and vocals.
Do u use it via MIDI with your MPC or just with the insert on the desk?
Any prefered settings on your snare like "small room" or something??
I know some people easy overdo things on the effects...how should u make your effects sound more natural?

dont overdo the effect and its more natural.

okay reverb is like panning it creates the illusion that something is comming front to back instead of left to right. Reverb places an insturment futher or away in a mix. Room type is susspoesd to simulate an enviroment. So samll room means that it sound like ur playin in a small room. I would mess around wit it. Reverb can sound nice on sanres and shit.

Okay but what unit do you use for it? Tc, Lexicon hardware or plugins?
Or do you really want some old 80's style reverb units?

It depends on your budget. I have one of the cheaper Lexicons, and some plug-ins too. To my ears Waves IR-1 sounds better than my Lexicon.
