I have my MPC-2500 connected to my M-Box2 Pro and have set the M-Box clock to SP-DIF.

I don't seem to be getting any signal through. The "Ext Clk" is lit on the M-Box suggesting that there is some sort of connection with the MPC-2500. When I tested the hardware with the the Windows XP control panel, the sound would drop in and out as if the two devices were having trouble syncing.

What do you think I could do next to narrow down the problem?

Have you checked to make sure that both devices are set to the same frame rate ?

Are you using a proper SPDIF lead or are you trying to get away with just a normal phono lead ?

It's not a problem - I was being stupid.

I have to set up a track for monitoring before the will be any monitoring of the signal.

The system is behaving, go out and get some outside air...

thats exactly what i was going to tell you to do (I have the exact same setup), Don't feel bad though I believe my Dumb @$$ did the same thing when I was connecting the SPDIF. I finally got it all figured out SPDIF, MIDI SYNC, INPUT THRU,(It was'nt easy) If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
