I REALLY NEED SOME HELP

I gota MPC 2500 for "free". Its not only crazy because its free, but also cuz I got no experience making beats. I have a labtop + old-ass midi keyboard (1990's). I was wondering what type of hardware or software I should get.

I have a low budget lol, but if you could tell me what type of thing I need I might be able to get a cheap version.

I was thinkin Cubase, but truthfully I have no idea.

you also need a cheap audio interface to get sound to and from laptop and a small mixer.you can buy a mixer with a built in interface nowadays.youll also need some headphones or monitors,and some cool samples a turntable and a free download of audacity(to edit samples) will get you in the game. peace
