just a quick question about the MPC2000xl (voltage question)

i was going to get an MPC 500 to add to my set-up.

but build quality is kind of an issue with me when it comes to gear so i got interested in the MPC 2000 (obviously i will have to purchase it second hand). i live in europe and will probably be ordering from america if i choose to buy one. just wondering about the voltage difference.

i know some machine allow you to select what voltage to run but is this the case with the 2000 or will i need to get a transformer of some sorts

you can switch it, but you will need a diff. plug (depending on where you live)

nice. im in the UK.

is it one of those 3 pin connecter plugs that go into the MPC? can i use any standard plug or do i need some special one?

IEC lead, or kettle plug.
