mute question

alright everyboday 1 more question i deleted all ma tracks but i save em on ma comp im jus guna do all my beats over so how would i assign em to the different tracks like wen i find ma drums snares hi hat bass and sample how would go about assing em to the tracks im anm sorr for askinm these quiestions

say you want your drums on tr1, snares on tr2, and hi hat on tr3. here's how you'd do it:

record your drums on tr1, just lay them down like you did before.

now, when your ready for your snares, before you press record...hit sequence and then track(right beside sequence button). move the cursor from "TRACK 01" to "TRACK 02".that will then switch your beat from tr1 to tr2. then you'll be able to lay down your snares on tr2, not tr1 where your drums are at.

when you get your drums layed down on tr1, snares on tr2, hit sequence and then track again. switch the cursor to tr3 to lay down your hi hats. after you do this, say you want your drums(which are on tr1) muted. just hit "TRACK MUTE", and hit pad1. then, every track you have will play except for your drums on tr1.
