MPC 1000 & Tascam US 122L

Hi folks,

finally got a MPC 1000. Well, got a question concerning connecting the MPC with my Tascam US 122L Audiointerface.
I want to record samples by playing them on my laptop. Connected the MPC Record IN with the Tascam Line Out.

If I hit Mode+Record and turn the Rec Gain knob on the only thing I hear is noise and a little bit of the sample.

What am I doing wrong?`

Hard to tell.

Check if the tascam´s line out is working.
Check the cables.
Check if the mpc´s record in is working.

Why dont you transfer the samples by usb, btw? The way you are trying it you are degrading your samples by converting them twice (digital-analog, analog-digital).
