That would be pretty cool. I dunno how that would be implemented. It might go beyond the limits of what the 2500 is capable of processing. But I did make a proposal for at least a double resolution mode (something people often do with their MPC's and E-Mu SP's).

I figure JJ could just alter the numbers that the display shows on screen to compensate for the doubled tempo and adjusting quantize values and metronome ticks accordingly. So visually, what you hear from the metronome, and quantizing with timing correct would run the same as if you were sequencing with your MPC normally but the timing would be tighter because the resolution would be 192PPQN.

You would also be able to make much smaller sublte offsets with the swing function and manual note shifting. Likewise, I would also imagine that we would also have 1/64th note quantize available as well.

I just received confirmation this is indeed NOT POSSIBLE in this hardware.
