hooks me up

So im new to this, i just got my mpc1000. I gonna get a 256mb chip too, or should i get somethin larger? i want to sample from my turntables, i got two numark 1625 and a numark mixer. also im gonna get a laptop, probably a mac, what would be best? also, i got a stereo with a builtin amplifier, should i run it through that? or an amp an speakers? another thing, where should i get samples from? like kicks an snares an shit? i saw some cds on ebay that sound good. any place to get free samples? thanks for actually reading this.

Thinks to def. get:

- 128 ram expansion (check the sticky thread in the 1000 subforum)
- at least a 1gb cf card, you´ll need it. I recommend a HD instead, atm i got like 20gb of samples in my mpc.
