2000XL --->MAC G4

WIV OS9.2 AND NO SCSI CARD
ANY PROGS TO COMUNICATE WIV MY G4 (VIA SCSI??)
AND TRANSFER SAMPLES OR AT LEAST BUILD PROGS AND TRANSMIT EM?

CAN IT BE DONE?

WHICH TBH I WAS THINKING OF BUT CAN THE MAC/MPC READ THE SAME ZIPS??????

the mpc can read samples you have created from you mac but the mac cant read your mpc data unless you save your sound s as .wav files.

The most important thing is to make sure the zips are pc dos formatted or even better still format them on your mpc. Ive done this and had no probs.

Your mac will create these weird files ds.doc or something and sometimes make a copy of your sound. If you had a sound named kick.wav it would make one called _kick.wav. You just have to delete these. Can be annoying but its an option. The other option is to go and get the MpcPgm Maker app for mac. I know they have a OSX version not sure about os9 tho.

Do a search on these forums and you should find info about it.

I got that for os9, i was wonderin over how to get the progs to mi xl but your sayin xl formatted zips will mount on os9 desktop so its all gravy.

Yeah. Since you go the OS9 version of MPCPGMMAker, you are set. It really saves some time.

Remember:

Don't use the Zip disk that you save all of your MPC files on to put in you Mac.
Otherwise, you could lose everything you have saved. Use another disk just to transfer sounds and pgms from the Mac to your MPC. Erase that disk often too. For more info, do a search about this subject. Do a search here.
