Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

can someone tell me where i can get a blue mpc 4000 ??

I know what yall going to say , does it really matter ?????
yes it does, if i have the money to get one, then i have the right to get the one i like ...

i tried zzsounds, sweetwater, musicianfriend, those fools dont know what they are talking about ...

They are not in the U.S yet. I tried to get one also. I waited for two

months for a blue one, I settled for a grey one. A blue face plate, white

buttons, and grey pads can be had for under $200. I saved money

getting a used one. If you want you can change the pieces around. Akai

really needs to get there act together. I don't reccomend waiting for

them.

Where to get them pieces? Just in case. This 4k doesnt look like it can last for 10 to 20 years like the 60/3k..

Its good to know you can replace all the buttons and pads! :P

The pieces are not out yet either. They will be available at Akai service centers. Last time I checked was the second week of May.

I hope that screen doesnt go out like mpc 2000 screens.
