Note Repeat Question

I have an MPC500.
Is there I way to have "Note Repeat" working if the "Timing Correct is set to off??? For some reason on my MPC500 "Note Repeat" only works when its on???

Is this a bug or is that just the way things are?

Yeah Im sure I can switch it the "Timing Correct" on back to normal but Im just curious cuz if I could then it would make it alot easier.

How would your mpc know at what frequency to place the repeated notes without TC on?

Yeah I know that... But my question was if there was a way around it. Cuz I like setting setting the TC to off.
