Trim a sound

Say for instance you have a bass,or a kick, or a snare. You a trimming from start to end. After you do one sound does it take a long time for your initial number at on the end point side to get back where it was?Is there a easy way to get it back fast? :?: :)

Well thats not what I talking about I guess only time you sample a sound it will have the largest number value and when you edit it keeps decreasing. It takes a while for that to be at the largest number on the end point. :|

It sounded like you wanted to move quickly through TRIM in the sample. I don't follow what your saying though.

he means when moving the locator in the trim screen.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but (I seem to remember this from using an XL for a short while) have you tried using shift and the cursor buttons to move through the digits?
