What hard drives are compatible with the Akai 2500?

I don't want to drop 2 bills for the hard drive. Is the something out there that is compatible I heard micro-center carries something.

any hard drive should work up to 120GB. and it shouldnt cost you more than $80 for 120GB

AKAI techies told me any drive but I'm not sure. Look for a PATA or EIDE (2.5inch of course) . I bought a PATA.

It shows you how to fit it in the manual.

It's very easy and mine works fine.

The Seagate Model is the 5400.2
