after a few hours of searching the forums, i've yet to find an answer to this problem i'm having.

here's my setup, i've got all pads and programs set to MONO. during playback in sequence mode, when i queue up another sequence to play it overlaps the last note (sample) of my sequence into the next one (sounding all POLY like). and vice versa between both sequences. this happens in SONG mode as well.

is there something i'm missing here? if everything is set to MONO, shouldn't it cut off notes (samples) when transitioning between sequences? it loops just fine when i playback a single sequence and let it loop. but the problem happens during sequence transitions. anyone run into this? :(

mono will cut off the SAME sample when retriggered.

note off plays back according to the decay value. try that. set to note off and adjust
the decay value to end at the end of the sequence.

I've done this exact thing on my 2kxl, maybe you can apply something like this to your 1k.

that makes mad sense now. the SAME sample (in the SAME program i'm assuming?). the samples that were overlapping were created from a duplicated program -- so i was assuming that the samples would cut off in MONO mode.

instead, i tried using the exact same program for both sequences, and lo and behold they cut off properly in both song mode and when switching sequences on the fly.

am i trippin' or was that fact not stated in the manual? you the man lampdog.
