EB16 question

If you wanna eq each individual sound but not enough busses. Try to use filter. it's a good alternative.

How is that? That's why they made a thing called MTC. It doesn't change your swing settings or the feel of the beat at all I don't think you have ever tried MTC before.

Alistar is actually right. MTC syncing sucks. All the tracks are not alligned 100% together, which means that you must move them a bit to go on tempo and you end up killing all the mpc feel with that. However, the 8 outs are usefull if you track down to a good mixer, get your EQ settings right, add you fx manualy, prepare the whole arrangement and get the final version of the instrumental recorded at once through the 2 main outs. That way you keep all the mpc magic.

If you look at tests done with sequencing multiple hits at once and recording the output you'll see that there's a slight lag in the samples being triggered, this is part of the "feel" and to record each sound solo'd with MTC you'll lose this.

I was speaking on an inbox solution, not outside the box.

That's cool, all depends how much you want to rely on external gear, doesn't it... If I wanted an all-in-one box to take to friends places for jamming I'd go the EB, if the MPC is going to sit in front of a mixer most of its life then 8 outs make sense. Or you can splurge and just get both, expanding capabilities even more
