I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure ish out. I'm starting to think you can't synch the 2500 with Cubase LE. I've read through a few posts, saw a few videos on youtube, and tried a few things. All the ish I find deals mostly with Cubase 4 or Nuendo. My Synch setup page does not look like the vids I've seen. It's missing a lot of the options like the "always send start messege" option. Help me out.

From what I have just read on the Steinberg 'Feature Comparison' page of their website:
Cubase LE will receive MTC and send MIDI clock.
Cubase SE will NOT receive MTC but will send midi clock.

After you have turned MTC on in Cubase, set the tempo to be the same as your mpc's tempo and then click 'sync' on your transport bar.
No recent Steinberg products will receive midi clock.

I use JJOS, but I'm sure MTC works in the Akai OS.

I just realised that you want to use Cubase LE as your master sequencer(!). Set it to send midi clock and change sync from int to ext on the transport panel. Set your MPC to receive midi clock. No tempo matching needed here.
