ANY CHANCE MPC 500 ABLE TO CHANGE TO 1000 SCREEN?

i never gave it a chance but a friend of mine was willing to sell his 500 for about 200$ and some dvds.was wondering if it can,or will ever be possible for an os on the 500.i no nobody really cares about them compared to whats become of the 1000os,which is im sure why it hasnt been made,but i was just wondering.
