Song mode, Main out, Wav. file

Hello MPC fam,

I have a dope track on my 4000 I want to upload for the first time on soundclick, but the thing is I go to song mode and convert everything into one seqeunce and record in main out with no prob!!!! The problem I have is getting the song to fade out and converting that to a wav. so I can showcase it on soundclick?.........I have o.s 1.51 with aksys.

Its questions like these that makes me embarrased
but the only dumb question is the question not asked!

there are surely many ways to do it but the easiest imo should be this feature in sample mode > edit > fade up/down which should do the job for you! have never tried it with such a long sample so let me know how it turns out please! m interested at how long you can set that fade down! thanx in advance!

It works okay but now how do I get my beat on soundclick, can I use akysys or do I have to burn the beat as a wav file on the mpc or what, can someone give me a play by play im very computer illiterate.....!

haven't used an mpc w/ a burner but im fairly sure u can burn wavs
I'd just hook up ak.sys, grab the file and drag an drop it to somewhere on your pc, it will automatically be .wav format....

u can then get an MP3 encoder to turn that .wav file into an mp3, it will be easier to upload as it will be compressed and take up less space.
OR
burn the track as an audio cd with nero or whateva

Yeah I know about dragging and dropping on a pc but where do I do that on soundclick, I tried uploading a song lastnight and it took for ever to upload and when it finally did it said it must be mp3 file, man I was pissed off...... Im trying to find an easier and fast way to upload rather that record it through my yamaha aw4416 as an audio and burn it to cd and then uploaded it that way,

Sampling the whole song is cool,but you're not getting a good mix. I track in Pro Tools,but there are programs out there like Cool Edit that you can get for free( I dont advocate this) to track your beats in. You should want your beats to knock as hard as they can so the artist can feel your vision. If the your tracks sound bland then they may just bypass them.

Say Kao I just downloaded the cool edit, on to my laptop {gateway} can you give me a good description on how to hook everything up together man im anxious to use this, the screen looks so pretty on my computer

1. mpc 4000
2 roland grovebox 307
3 yamaha aw4416
4 studio phile monitors
5 casio workstation 1800

To make things simpler for me I sample all of my sounds in the 4000 from my keyboard and roland........Is there a way to just run the 4000 with the cool edit and track my beats like that or what? Also tell me if I need to purchase any extras such as cables or anything. Oh yeah I think it mentioned something about a soundcard........
