Old Skool drum breaks. Where to find them?

Im tired of digging and I can't find any! well, maybe a few.... but not enough.
Basically, I wanna download some! Or buy a CD which has them all
I have downloaded a pack with 300+ breaks once but they are all shitty sounding due to NRD. bleh

Search online for "dusty finger" and strictly breaks bunch of breakbeats but keep in mind already used countless times so not very original or innovative but it'll get you started

Haha... download "Long Red (Live at Woodstock)" and "Funky Drummer".

Seems to work for people who like their beats sounding like carbon copies of literally thousands of other beats.

How bout it? thats cool too......i havent picked one up yet, it would prolly be a waste of my money if i bought it,it would just sit like the other 50 cd's that i have,

digging is an art that takes alot of practice just like any other. If you give it your all you'll eventually develop a style, your own way of searching for sounds, loops, drums, spoken word, or whatever, and this will show through in your projects.

It is definitely worth giving it another go. you will be surprised of whats out there.

if i only relied on breaks that i ONLY found on vinyl, i'd be using the same 15-20 breaks all my life...no sir, it's 300 breaks, grimeybreaks, planet of the breaks, and other drum packages for me

these are not the be all end all, though. most the people who sampled these breaks did some dumb stuff, like trim off all the record silence from the start/end of file (you can USE that dammit!) also it's nicest to find something on a record and get it JUST how YOU like it rather than some assembly-dude making the decisions

unfortunately not everyone buys records to sample that have drums on them, let alone open breaks so we have to turn to these assembled packages. result's the same "from drum break" sound, though so i'm not bummed about it

but you'd best believe if i ever see anything VAGUELY rhythm oriented in the record store ("Cuba's Rhythms!" or "Instruments of the Orchestra - Percussion") i will snatch it.

you know, though, i'm finding a new sample medium that it looks like NOBODY has tapped yet. Instructional VHS tapes and DVDs. Look on Ebay for VHS and Netflix for DVDs. you can get TONS and tons of "How to Play _______" videos, tons of instruments, and loads of percussive stuff

if it's from VHS it sounds really hot, if from DVD it's crystal clear (of course both depends on the recording quality of the original material, i just got a drums dvd that sounds like it was recorded in mono in a classroom. no good.

no it's not new... thats been done for yrs.sampling vhs tapes and DVD.
i've had a vhs player in my studio with a TV so i can sample from that .
plus peole get rid of there stuff for really cheap at garage sales and sht you can pick them up for like 25 cents.
