recording a sample

ok when i record tmy sample from the turn table an set my gain to low on the back panel like the manual say


10. Now, let's set the record level. First, set the GAIN switch on the rear
panel. For most applications, use the LO setting.

it wouldnt start recoeding unless its on hi instead of lo

it's not illegal to have it on MID or HI.. depents on the signal coming from your mixer our sound source..

have you even got the turntable plugged into a mixer or preamp? Because the 60 samples off a line level, not phono.

well i want it to record the sample on LO but it wont why is that

Adjust your Threshold like TK said.

its set to 5 like the manual says

but with some samples i still get a static noise in the background
