Does anyone know how to move ALL of the instances on a pad(s) in Step Edit forward or backward by a specific amount of ticks? It says this is possible in the eBook for the MPC1000 (page 105, "shift timing"). I have not found it to be the case.
Help?
Thank you!!!

Did you choose to move ALL or a specific note?
I don't have a 1k, shift timing is also on my 2kxl, works the same as you are saying.

Thanks for your reply!
I cannot find the time shift function in the move page on the 1000.

you're going to have to update your OS.
do you have CHOP or timestretch? i bet your MPC is still on os 1.07
otherwise, you can do this from SEQ edit (mode/pad 12)
