sequences from OS1 to OS2

i made some shizz within OS1, then i got sequences & programs to OS2. OS2 played all the shit wrong, also i opened some stuff made with mpc500 and sounded wack too. then if i changed all the drum tracks to midi tracks the sounds in programs sounded correct. why the hell is this happening, is there a way to avoid this happening??

get it done in os1, start anew in os2
os1 projects are often not going to be compatible with os2
both os1 and os2 are definitely not going to be compatible with the 500.

i did sequence & program
OS 1 => OS 2
mpc500 => OS 2
either not successful. but you say start all over with OS 2? i guess that's the best option then.
