problem!!!!

hi,this is my first thread..i m new to the mpc world!
i have a very important problem with my mpc2500..
when i finish all the sequencers, the song and im ready to record the final song i turn to the record mode main out and i press record..when the song is finished after recording the sound is damaged..i have more bass and less prime than the sample i used to grid edit!
the samples i use are only from vinyl so it is not possible to be the reason for this sound damage..

do you know whats happening????????

I don't really know what you're trying to say with the sound has less prime than the sample you used to grid edit.
But are you listening to the recorded song on the mpc?
Maybe you are using master effects like the EQ where you boosted the bass and lowered the "Prime????" and when you listen to the song you have those master effects doubled cause you have them once on the recorded file and once in realtime with the master effects?
This would mean you have boosted your bass twice as mutch.

sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!prime i mean hi and bass i mean the low..

i dont konw..i ll check it..the thing is that i dont make the bass for my beat on the mpc and i don t add any equaliser only some reverb..i do this on cubase..if you hear it its just a used adiferent sample..!

I no longer have a 2500 but if I'm not mistaken the 2500 has both EQ and COMP set to on as a default for the Master Bus.

Also it could be the level that you are sending to Cubase are too hot causing it to distort or clip frequencies out.

I assume you only have the Master Level on -6 or -12 dB in the Other settings. That makes the recording from the main outs less loud than the original.
