Does anybody know where I can get a record pressed?

I was looking to make my own record of just breaks and drum sounds so I can use them for my beats.. does anybody know where I could get just 1 record pressed for not too much money?

I'm sure there are places online, or if you have connections at your local record store im sure they know people, who know people that can press a record for you. Does anyone know how much a record presser actually costs? I think last time I saw they ran for like 9k.....

yeah i was looking they said this stanton one is the best and it was 10k....

I guess real _pressing_ machine costs a lot more than 10 k, those 10 k stanton/vestax things dont do real pressings, they "record" to blank vinyls. Sound quality wont be as good as real pressing and those wear out faster if cutting etc

It doesn't make sense money/time-wise, for them to press 1 copy.

yeah well im going to get a dubplate pressed they'll do that but they wont press an actual vinyl so Im gonna try to dubplate and see how that works

Hate to be the one saying it : this is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard in some time . But don't let me be the one to stop you, go ahead and waist your time and money on that.

You say its a waste of money. But instead of digging to find drum samples off records. You can get all your sounds that u already have and put them on vinyl and get that nice vinyl sound without having to buy 10,000 records to find all the good breaks.............. I just wanna hear some of your tracks and see what "good ideas" you have! HA

I wasn't gonna gratify that remark with a reply but I would just like to point out how ridiculous it would be to do what you're saying. Just because something comes off of vinyl doesn't mean it's instantly hot. In fcat alot of pressings sound like crap. Unlike you , I buy records for the music first and foremost,breaks/ samples second.
I have nothing to prove to you. I don't know why I even bothered trying to explain this.
You know what, just go and get that record pressed, mather of fact press up a couple.

there is such thing called "Digital Library" and "Zip Drives" and "Floppies"...

not EVERYTHING has to come of vinyl just so it could be hip hop...

some of these hardcore "hardware only" beat makers come up with some ridicules shyt now days...

yeah it's a pretty dumb idea. You can get vinyl sound without actually getting your drums off records. Get some friggin effects units. You can dirty and thicken it right up.
