Hi.

When i turn on the MPC. . . some preset sounds and seqs load. I want to start from scratch completely and load my own sounds and seqs on.

Can anyone give me advice on this as im a total newbie to the 1000. Im a longtime 2000xl user. Im getting the 1000 for my live show.

Thanks for your time. . .

Ben :)

Yeah, I find that function a long time ago, but once again maybe I put it in wrong way
I don't mean how to clear used or unused samples from memory by purge or sth or dont a.load them
I asked about delete this files which are saved in mpc, not on CF

but when we talking about it, I've start to wonder about reason of doin it, cause if they aren't loaded they don't take any RAM space , it's right?

loaded = sounds in ram (memory)

delete sounds in memory that are not in a program = purge.

not loaded in ram = takes up no space ram (memory).

when you work with sounds "loaded" in mpc, those sounds are located in ram.
