so im sittin back groovin to jb right. the lp "gettin down to it".

one there he has a cover of "sunny" with marva whitney. dope, jazzy cut.

then i came across this video on youtube

is this version on wax anywhere? the upbeat, funky joint. the only 45 I found of james brown's "sunny" is the jazzy cut with the dee felice trio, a duet with marva.

my spidey-sense is telling me that the funky version exists somewhere--I hope its not exclusive to that video.

does anybody know if there's a live album/45 floating around somewhere of the version that's on the video?

I know it's on the Gettin' Down to It album, but I can't find a live version that was pressed either.

They didn't even put it on the Love Power Peace album, and that was his live show in Paris.

It's a shame if it wasn't pressed.

ARGH!! I damn near pulled out my beard when i saw that album didnt have it.

buuuut...since that album exists and its of the same performance, then that song MUST have been recorded. therefore, it must exist on tape somewhere.

but was it pressed???
