The pads and buttons of the MPC 5000 feel exactly like the MPC 2500. While using the MPC 2500 for 3 years..in my opinion..the MPC 2500 feels nothing like an MPC 1000 unless you are talking specifically about the JJ OS.

I think I was the one who bought that 2500 for $1250, and I couldn't be any happier...
already stepped my beat game up big time.
